Minerva Mcgonagal is the assistant headmistress for Hogwarts. She also teaches transfiguration, and is the head of Gryffindor. She has written mostly all of the Hogwarts letters to state the start of the term. She also gave information on the triwizard tournament to the four champions.
Professor Mcgonagal is introduced in the first movie.
